No to Violence: branding

No to Violence is the peak body for organisations and individuals working with men to end family violence in Victoria and New South Wales. The organisation also provides telephone counselling, information and referrals for men in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.

Until recently, the organisation was known as No to Violence/Men’s Referral Service. As part of our communications audit and in response to our strategic communications workshop, we recommended the organisation simply change its name to ‘No to Violence’.

The more memorable, succinct name was designed to reduce confusion amongst target audiences while still drawing on the legacy of the brand. We also developed a new logo, associated visual language and brand style guide to help support the new name and grow the organisation’s national reach.
